Wayne Gamble is a freelance graphic designer with 20 years experience in creating branding and print for the arts, culture, and arse jokes.
From 2002 to 2012 he worked at toilet humour magazine Viz Comic, designing 103 issues and 22 books plus countless other collaborations with Dennis Publishing, Pan Macmillan, the Guardian and Tate Britain.
Between 2009 and 2012 he helped relaunch cult Leeds United magazine The Square Ball, winner of the Football Supporters’ Federation Fanzine of the Year award in 2011 and 2014.
Since going freelance in 2012 he has established himself as a designer of eye-catching posters and flyers for the arts, working with a range of cultural organisations including Northern Stage, LittleMighty, The Forge, and Third Angel. Here you'll find a selection of recent freelance work.
